A non-profit homebuilder founded in 1985 by volunteers, Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity works to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness by providing homeownership opportunities to those in need. Habitat families help to earn their homes through their “sweat equity,” working many hours helping to build Habitat homes.
The current project undertaken by Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity is located at 100 Parker Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts. This is the site of the former St. Patrick’s convent, and Habitat for Humanity is currently transforming it into 10 units of affordable housing, while preserving the historical structure of the building which has been vacant for several years.
Owned and operated by the Torrisi family, Jackson Lumber & Millwork has been a cornerstone of the Lawrence business community for 67 years and has always been proud to support the good work done by Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity. With additional locations in Amesbury, MA, Raymond, NH, and a kitchen design showroom in North Andover, MA, Jackson Lumber & Millwork serves contractors and homeowners throughout eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
Based in Wilmington, Ohio, TimberTech is a leading manufacturer of low maintenance composite decking and railing products.
